I was looking for an all rounder - occasionally more passengers (once all lockdown lifted), for holidays abroad storage-wise not to sleep in, and everyday for courier work. I am undecided between gen 3 and gen 4, I fancy a CVT cause my cars are CVT high mileage and can’t fault it. That’s not set in stone though. I am lost in all the trim levels I can’t find any comparison to help me choose but in general I like technology (maybe that’s why I am not looking at oldest ones). On the other hand leather and light colour interior are not an option. Also I have a question is there anything that can be done about the indicator / wiper stalks being on wrong side? Thanks

what year are we talking about, as my 2004 version is just fine position wise?

I was told by the dealer that all imports have the stalks on the other side than UK cars. So in my cars indicators are on the left and wipers on the right. Stepwagons (supposedly all of them according to the dealer - correct me if I’m wrong) have wipers on the left and indicators on the right. Having thought of it common sense the stepwagon configuration is better but because my cars are the other way round I can’t imagine swapping between 2 vehicles on daily basis and not getting it wrong every time. It is a safety issue if I use a wiper instead of an indicator confusing other road users, or the other way round I indicate when I want to wipe the screen. Ultimately there must be a way to seap them around to match UK standard?
