boy, this gets on my nerves. why oh why are so many houses build in the UK over the past decade 'til present being build with narrow doorways?
There's been so many cases where new owners of houses have had problems trying to fit sofa's and alike into properties that have too narrow 'standard' doorways.
Some properties are rather big in side, but, lack a serious ample sized doorway; instead, trying to save costs by putting in a stupid narrow doorway that certainly doesn't befit the size of the property!
Shame on house architects with narrow visions!
