"This is a picture of my cat scrabble the picture was taken with a Hewlett Packard digital camera. While loading the pictures I took of my house I noticed something strange in a lot of them. This one creped me out the most. The orange statue below the cat is the bust of a baby head it’s called a death mask. When a baby dies they make casts of the babies head for the parents. I found it in an antique store. Ever since I got it strange things have been happening. I think the figure in the picture is of this baby. I tired to do research but came up with nothing. I think it has to do with the bust not the house. A few times I woke up to the sound of a baby crying It’s hard to make out but in every picture I took of or around the bust the image appeared."

"My friend took this photo using a web cam placed on the top of his computer monitor. At this time, he was alone in the house, and he doesn't even have a sister. This really scared him when it came up on the screen! he has no explanation. Can this really be a ghost? it looks too real to me."

"I took this picture when my dog was barking at the TV. The TV was off at the time. There has been a lot of things happen around this house. Things turning on and off by themselves. So one day I decided to take pictures at whatever my dog was barking at, and this is what I got. It was around 12am or so."

"It was early summer and my mothers flowers had just come in. So she was taking pictures of them to show her friends and this strange figure came up. To me it looks like a person looking down with their hands together in front of them. It was around 6:00 p.m. on 7/2/04."

The picture was taken at an ambulance station that I used to work at and she still does. We have always heard strange noises, including footsteps going across the floor right in front of us. The garage doors would go up and down by themselves. And, several EMTs and Medics would tell me they saw "shadows" out of the corner of their eyes. I also witnessed this several times. I decided to do an investigation with a few of my pieces of equipment. We got several temperature changes, and spikes on my EMF meter. Only one picture turned up a possible orb. The girl who took this picture decided to start taking random pictures around the station and this is one of the most interesting pictures I have seen. No one was smoking and it was a warm summer night about 70 degrees. It to me appears to be ecto forming an apparition. Looks like a girl with her head slightly drooped forward with her hair over her face. She is wearing a seatbelt and has her arms (which appear to be skeleton-like) crossed in front of her. When we zoomed in, we saw several faces also. One that is very distinct with dimension is to the top right side and appears to have a wide jaw and a mean grin with teeth. Could this be some of our accident victims that have passed on?

This is a picture of my Brother Eric and his new son. This photo was taken in the hospital the day he was born and I assure you that the TV was off. No one even noticed this man in the TV at first, but when I finally did notice it, I got chills up my spine.

This picture was taken last year on a trip to Jefferson Texas, which is told to be the most haunted city in Texas. I did not noticed this picture until recently when I was going over them in order to find out places I wanted to investigate more when I go there again. I was pleasantly surprised by this find and had to show you guys right away! It looks like a man is holding his chin in deep thought...at least to me it does.

"We were taking pictures of how our house was decorated for Christmas a few years ago and this image showed up. We live in Perkasie PA which is an old Mennonite town and the house we live in is over 100 years of age. This picture was taken mid afternoon. It really freaked us out when we viewed the images on the digital camera display."

I have sent one picture of my little sister and it looks like there is some type of vortex (?) energy in front of her. I have a couple more that are really interesting but I just thought I would send this one for now. This picture has been sitting in the cabinet for years and I finally found it. At the time when this picture was taken I would have had no knowledge to know what spirits would look like in photos, so this has been put aside for a long time. If you look by the stuffed cat, there looks to be some eyes there or maybe a face! I didn't notice this for a long time, when I saw the eyes I finally decided to send this to you. This could not be a camera strap because it does not go across to the other site of the picture. I know the rest of the picture is dark, but it looks like there is a really dark shadow above my dads legs (if it continues to go through my little sister.) One last thing, I was also wondering if she actually saw this because kids can see things adults can't

"I enclose a photo of my attic. My house is old and the portion of the attic that I took a picture of has been untouched for years. I decided to see if I could spot anything unusual and take a picture of it using the flash of my camera, as it is normally far too dark to see anything in there. Having opened the door, which comes up to my chest, I leaned in and took a snap. When I looked at the photo, I saw a broken china ornament of some kind, which is unfortunately too deep in the attic to be obtained at the moment. I was looking at the picture on a flat screen, and I stood up to go and get a cup of milk, and a human-like figure became very apparent and positively glowed in the photo. I moved my head back down and the figure was invisible. I think this is just the way my screen displays colors but I don't have access to anyone else's computer so I can't know for certain! I can definitely see a face and hand and perhaps a long flowing dress on the figure. My father thinks that she (I'm positive this is a female apparition) looks like she was 'sitting on her hip upon the roof beam, and she has had a shock when I took the photo and is jumping up'! I wonder what everyone else thinks of my ghostly photo, and what this spirit is doing in my loft? P.S. I have also included a photo that shows you where I see the face, hand and shoulder of this figure."

My boyfriend, Dave, and I really believe that this is just shear luck that we captured this. We had heard about Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio being haunted. Story has it, in the 1800s the college was an all girl college one of the students, Stephanie, climbed to the belfry and hung herself. Paranormal accounts from Stephanie have been so great that the college has closed down the fourth floor of the building. Dave and I went to the college Sept.11th, 2004 at 3 p.m. We managed to walk our way around the lower three floors shooting off snapshots of the inside of College Hall. After touring around the 3rd floor we found the doors that led up the 4th, but they were locked tightly with chairs placed in front of the doors. We even tried to venture up the fire escape only to find that the doors had been nailed and boarded shut from the outside. As we were leaving Dave decided to take a snapshot of the outside. As soon as we got our film developed we could clearly see an apparition figure of a woman looking at us out the window. Her gown even dangles down to the window below the one she is in. I have sent in our picture and I have circled the window she is in. We are hopefully making plans with the college to see if we can explore that 4th floor with our equipment in the near future. This was the only picture that turned out, out of two rolls of film, but like I said we are very excited and impressed about it.

"This photo was taken at my sister's Halloween party on 10/30/04 in Raritan, NJ. This is the front of her house, and the pumpkins are sitting on the porch railing. There appears to be something over the second pumpkin from the left. After noticing the 'ghost' in the photo, my sister sent me a copy. I used an editing program to brighten the photo. Absolutely no other changes were made. As you can see, the bricks between the two windows, which were previously in the dark, are now visible. The form behind the pumpkin is also more clearly visible.

"I was watching the cams one afternoon, when I saw a group go up the stairs one by one. I captured them but just assumed that doc, the owner just had guests arrive. Until I saw a baby walking up the stairs by itself. Now, we all know that no one allows a toddler to go on the stairs by itself. So, I posted it on the Asylum to ask what others thought of this cap. Well, Doc responded, saying that no one, especially not a baby, was in the house that day. He still loves these captures, as they are yet more proof of his visitors. I sent only a few from the time span of the guests.

You can see it's face in the doorway. It appears to be a creature with two bright eyes. This isn't a lie, our house is haunted with all kinds of ghosts wandering around. Our house is built on top of an old graveyard. Well if you get the chance write back and I'll get more information. I am also wandering how to set up a web cam because our hallway has a lot of activity at times."

"Attached is a photo I found of my sister and me on our Grandmother's front porch around 1984. Just recently I noticed what looks like a face on the top of the door above my sister ( she's on the right). I enlarged the photo on my scanner and I can see that it looks like a bony face of a man. It even looks like he has his nosed pressed up against the glass. My Grandmother has always said the place is haunted. Her mother and her brother both died on the property. My sister and I still get an eerie feeling when we visit."

"This was taken at a home we lived in for 6 yrs., (in West Dallas). It has been in my ex-wife's family since the early 1930's, or so I was told. Supposedly, Mrs. Morrison disappeared without a trace (allegedly killed by her husband). Mr. Morrison allegedly killed himself in the house a year later."

"I found this photo in a bunch of photos that were for sale. The woman I bought it from knew nothing about it. I thought that the faces of the little boy and man peeking out of the window were interesting. The boy is transparent with what appears to be ghostly movement, or it could be motion blur. The man seems a bit distorted for a person, but it could be an illusion caused by objects in the room. Either way, I found them interesting and kind of spooky. Enclosed are the original photo, cropped close-up, and cropped and enhanced close-up of the window with the faces."

"One day I was laying in my bed petting my cat and something compelled me to take a picture of my bathroom . I am very in tune you could say with knowing when I'm being watched Ecto... So I asked my daughter to grab the camera and I took a picture of it , And behold when I went to look at the photo there's a face right beside the toilet! And if you look on the wall you will see a face also. The face actually happens to look a lot like my grandmother who died a few years ago."

"My brother took this photo several years ago in the Northampton area of England. He was initially photographing the name on the side of a disused coach at an old railway station. It wasn't until he got the photo developed that he saw what appears to be a face peering out of the window. My brother was wearing a baseball cap at the time and was alone. However, if it was someone inside the coach then they would have to have been standing through the floor to be at the level the face appears at. This photo's fascinated us for years."

"My boyfriend's brother "Manny" took this photo this last September (2004) at Our Lady's Grotto, at Mount Saint Mary's University in Emmitsburg, Maryland. The site is also known as the National Shrine Grotto of Lourdes. The cemetery is located near the shrine, which traces its linage to the very beginnings of the spread of Catholicism in America. Manny had his photos developed and brought them straight to me. There's one photo that caught my interest and I scanned it in to share. For some unknown reason, Manny decided to have his photos developed black and white. I guess he was trying to be artsy. I don't know if that caused the unusual appearance in the photo. This is the only photo that has anything unusual in it and it also shows in the negative. I also centered the object and magnified it by 200%."

This photo was taken on my cousins digital camera in august of 04. we believe it to be the ghost of our uncle Pete who had died in a bad car wreck only 10 days before his 45 birthday in December . he had promised me before his death that he would come from California with my 2 cousins to visit me in Connecticut no matter what..... Well in the back of this picture is my uncle Pete in the doorway.( I'm standing to the right of the doorway near the computer.) in his left hand he holds the hand made urn that my aunt had carved from a gourd for his ashes which were to be hand delivered to the panobscot Indian nation in Maine for burial next to his brother by me and my family. You can also see sunglasses on his head and his long black hair. I was scared when I first saw this picture but then we realized it was just my uncle keeping his promise to me. P.S. the face in the lower right hand corner is my cousin .. not another ghost.

"I was in my room with my friend Kenny when I took this picture. This picture was taken with a regular 35mm camera. I think it looks like the grim reaper!! This picture really freaked me out considering that this thing was right in front of my closet! I really don't understand, nothing weird has ever happened in my house to make me think a spirit lives here also.

This digital imagery is almost certainly an authentic snapshot photograph. It was taken at midday at the end of a weekend away during March 3003, at the very haunted Littlecote Manor, Berkshire UK, with her husband. She is adamant that the doorway was empty when they took the snap. Mrs. Levy is a reputable schoolteacher, and isn't the hoaxing kind. She has gained little, save for skepticism, from these images! I find them to be hauntingly beautiful, whether genuine or not. If they are fake, then Mrs. Levy must know that they put her in a very dubious position professionally, because she shows them to her classes! She and her husband still can't believe what they downloaded when they got home. Some time ago, I sent these images to The Fortean Times, an internationally renowned journal of strange and anomalous phenomena. They published them in their Letters section. They printed no response in subsequent issues, however. This surprises me, because they rank highly, in my view, against famous ghost photographs. Also, The Society for Psychical Research accepted them into their archives. A famous authority on British costume, who wish to remain anonymous, identified the style of coat as belonging to the period 1660's to late 18th century.

"This picture was taken last Christmas. The woman in the TV looks to be dressed in early 1920's. We were completely shocked after viewing the developed photo. The Television was obviously turned off at the time"

"This picture is of a friend of mine from work and was taken by her sister a few years ago. When she showed it to me I just could not believe it. I have recently come across your website and ask her if I could submit it to you. Picture was taken after the sun was behind the trees. There was nothing that could have been caused a reflection. The small hill is actually steeper than it looks, the trunk is eye level when standing back from it. Her sister was sitting on a bench when she took it. The strangest thing about it is she had a very bad migraine at the time. The image is coming from above. You can clearly see the head and hands that are gripping her head. She says that when she stood to push the boys, her migraine was gone-just like that! They could not believe the photo when they got it back. This is one of the best photos I have ever seen. I don't know what kind of camera that was used, except that is was 35m. I know that this photo has not been altered.

This is not a joke. This picture was taken at the Perth Amboy/Carteret Thanksgiving game. The intent was to take a picture of the score' but after examining the picture, something unique appeared. Mind you; this is not a doctored pictured. Look in the circle, there is a young man sitting on his headstone watching the game. My sister went to the cemetery and found the grave, the boy sitting on his grave died at ten years old with his 2 year old brother. it looks like he is holding his brother in his lap, with his head to the left and his legs protruding to our right. FYI; my sister is trying to find the family as we speak, and to give then the picture."

"The submitted photo was a doctors office for about 50 years. The doctor was active until his death at 86 years of age. He passed away in 2001. its now an office that takes emergency 911 calls. It is very active with paranormal activity. At Christmas time two balls that were hanging off the ceiling would spin one way then stop and start spinning the other way with no air vent anywhere. A couple of times one ball would raise up and stop like someone was holding it. Shadows are seen at the ends of the halls with no one else in the building. Cold spots threw out mostly in the men's restroom. The reason the picture was taken with the hands is a twig on a bush was moving up and down, only one twig on the whole bush so the picture was taken and the hands and face showed up in it. The picture of the door is the personal office of the doctor that owned the building for all those years. Another thing about the building it is said that the doctor did autopsies in this building before the town got a hospital. (I do not know if this is true or not) One more thing that happens in this building... in one spot in the hall, people trip as they are walking down the hall. there is nothing in the hall for them to trip over

"Here are some more pics that I took at Jacksonville Cemetery in Alabama. These really scared me when I saw the pics. They were not there when I took the pictures. At the time, I was alone & got a really strange & creepy feeling, so I snapped a few more pics, then took off walking very fast! These were taken with a Fuji Disposable Camera with 400 speed film.

"I moved into a house in Oct 2004...I have had nothing but problems...My wife left me right after we moved in and I spiraled downward into depression...I stared having thoughts of suicide and things started happening even worse...It got so bad that when I tried to go to bed I would hear noises and things moving...I just kinda kept shrugging it off...I had a friend stay over one night and while we were laying in the living room in the dark she said she felt like someone was watching us...Again I kinda laughed and shrugged it off...My neighbor who I don't know well talked to me one day while I was raking my yard...He said you mean you ain't moved yet...I laughed and said no why? He said my house was haunted...A man killed himself in it several years earlier...I felt the hairs on my neck stand up...To make the story kinda shorter me and my wife ended up getting back together in Dec...One night we were laying in our bed and the noises started back up...It sounded like someone walked up to our bedroom door...I already had reached for my gun in my dresser and was gonna shoot through the door...I was sure someone had broken in...I grabbed the door handle scared ????less ready to blow someone away...I opened it and no one was there...Needless to say me and her left and spent the night at my Dads...The next day I had my friend come over...She brought her camera over with her...She said that we should take pics of an empty room...Well we did and nothing happened...Well my kitchen has a sheet over it cuz of cold air in my house...She claimed that she felt energy or something from in that room...So that night we set the timer on the camera and took pic after pic towards that door...Out of 100's of pics this one scared the hell outta of me and I am scared to be in this house...We are looking for a new place...Please tell me what your opinion is...I was here when the pic was taken and I opened the file myself so it was never tampered with...Please email me back and let me know what to do...It has got really bad lately."

"This pic was taken approximately 5 years ago, it is my daughter in the pic, we were taking pics of the whole birthday celebration thing at a friends house, from blowing candles on cake to her having fun with her uncle...so this is what I found in the pic. I found this pic in amongst all my other pics, never even realized until I had a good hard look at it that there was a face there on the TV...what makes me more adamant its a ghost is that the second pic I've sent has only lines on it, doesn't seem to be a TV program to me... I had a 35mm camera at the time this pic was taken, I seem to have captured a fair bit of activity at this particular house, I don't know if it is the house or the people who live there."
