I've recently bought a Shop Demo which has a controlled piece of software installed which does limit you on what you can do on it due to security aspects on the demo software, so you'll have to flash a new ROM to get the tablet back to full working performance.
I'll post details shortly on how to flash your tablet if you're affected by this.
