for get the expensive fix of having to purchase a new speedo and labour costs, buy:
DashCommand app for iPhone or Android, and use one of the build-in Dashboard's to display MPH speedo, as well as monitor other car stats in realtime.
or
Torque Pro app
and an OBD bluetooth scanner from ebay for around £5 - 10 only!
these apps will save you loads and help you to maintain your car, and show you how fast you're driving in realtime, and in different speedo sizes; all from your phone or tablet; I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab3 8.0 and it's brilliant! :)
